As you watch St. Augustine current weather you'll find our weather is wonderful, almost all the time.
Now, it does get hot, and the humidity rises in the summer; but after all, isn't that why they make air conditioners? Yep, and we keep ours set at a cool and comfy, 72.
We also get a hurricane scare now and then but I don't think there is anywhere in Florida that doesn't.
I have heard that because of the way the coastline comes in a bit in our area a direct hit isn't likely. However, we do take all the necessary precautions if one is out there swirling away in the Atlantic or the Gulf.
It just seems to be part of life living in the sunshine state.
Certainly pay attention to the weather if you are planning to visit during hurricane season, June through November with peak months late August and September.
